Installing Citrix Receiver for Mac

  • Note: Citrix Receiver is supported on Mac's running OS X 10.5 and above - Mac users navigating to https://citrixweb.lsuhsc.edu should be prompted to download the client. If issues occur the below process can be used to download and install the client manually.
  1. Click here to download Citrix Receiver for Mac
  2. Launch the file from your Downloads folder and double click 'Install Citrix Receiver.pkg'
  3. Accept all of the prompts to complete the installation
  4. Once Citrix Receiver for Mac is installed you can use Safari to navigate to https://citrixweb.lsuhsc.edu to connect to Citrix

  1. Click here to download Citrix Receiver for Mac
  2. Launch the file from your Downloads folder and double click 'Uninstall Citrix Receiver.app'
  3. Accept all of the prompts to complete the uninstall

Configuring Citrix Receiver for Mac

  • Note: Configuring Citrix Receiver is not required to connect to LSUHSC Citrix resources. Users can navigate to https://citrixweb.lsuhsc.edu to access Citrix after the Citrix Receiver client is installed.
  1. Navigate to 'Applications > Citrix Receiver' to launch the installed client
  2. Enter 'citrixweb.lsuhsc.edu' when prompted for work email or server address - note that your LSUHSC email will not be accepted
  3. Login with 'lsumc-masterUSERNAME' and your LSUHSC password to continue
  4. Click the '+' icon > Then click 'All Applications' to select the resources you would like to use
